This tour starts from the Town Hall, goes along the Headrow, Park Row, Boar Lane, Briggate, back along the Headrow to Millennium Square.
This view looking along Park Lane, later renamed the Headrow, from in front of the Town Hall. East Parade can be seen on the right with Pearl Insurance Limited on the corner. On the left is Leeds Permanent Building Society with Calverley Chambers next door.
These buildings were later demolished to create the Gardens of Rest, which opened October 28th 1937. Leeds Central Library, formerly the Municipal Buildings, can just be seen on the extreme left with Centenary Street in front of it.
