On to Boar Lane, looking towards Vicar Lane. The pavement is lined with plinths supporting decorations based on a medieval tournament theme. Individual shops and businesses displayed their own flags and bunting. On the left is a corner of C and A clothes store, then Holy Trinity Church. The sign for Schweppes drinks is displayed at 148 Briggate, the junction with Boar Lane. On the left, the canopy for Walker Fairburn's White Horse Restaurant can be seen. This was no.18 Boar Lane.
