Description:
c1967. Schofields main building. This was completed in 1962. Now replaced by the Headrow Shopping Centre. There are cars and vans on the street. People are on the pavement and crossing the road.

So... completed in 1962 ... but I was in there ... all over the shop, so to speak, until at least 1967 and traces of Red Hall were still in there. Who gave permission for their oblitereation?

Comment:
Red Hall should have been protected completely long before Schofield's obliterated it. It was the first brick-built house in the city and dated from the 1600s. Does anyone have more information?
