23rd January 1928. Taken at the time of the road widening scheme this view shows the kerb stones that are newly laid beside the dirt pavement. There is a row of semi-detached brick houses with pantile roofs. At centre there is a small stone building with a slate roof, Its use is unknown perhaps an old chapel. Two overcoats are hanging over the fence.
