Description:
28th August 1914. View of the Crown & Anchor Yard, situated off Edward Square at the back of the Crown & Anchor public house, which faced onto Vicar Lane. Edward Square itself was situated off Edward Street. A council worker is measuring the height of a building prior to area improvements.
