Otley County Library, number 4 Boroughgate
Undated. Interior view of Otley County Library possibly taken not long after it opened in Boroughgate in 1959. Boroughgate is glimpsed though the door and windows in the background. The building chosen to house the library was originally one dwelling house and dates from the seventeenth century. Nowadays it is Grade II listed. Several people can be seen browsing the shelves in the non-fiction section. A table in the centre displays a collection of books.
