Subject ID:
Subject Year:

Class number:
Bowman Lane, looking west
Undated. View of Bowman Lane looking west towards Hunslet Road, taken around the 1960s or 1970s. On the left is a clothing factory. On the right, derelict and boarded up, are nos. 1-7, then the entrance to Adelphi Yard. In the background on Hunslet Road is a building known as Bridge House, due to its proximity to Leeds Bridge and Bridge End. Much of this area has since been demolished with Bowman Lane now only going as far as Kendal Lane.
