1st July 1942. View of Lea Farm Mount from Lea Farm Road, looking towards Whitaker's and derelict building. Council maisonettes are on both sides of the road. Behind Whitaker's can be seen clearly an electricity pylon.

The Whitaker's factory at the top of Lea Farm Mount has been demolished. a youth center stands on its ground today.

My aunty hetty and uncle reg ibbitson lived at 2 lea farm mount in the 1950 it was on the corner .i used to go visit in my school hollidays anybody remember them my uncle worked on the leeds railwal he was a porter this is a great site. regards joan
