Wesleyan Methodist Church, Beeston Road
10th December 1965, The Wesleyan Church in Beeston Hill began as a Society Class held at the home of John Atkinson. Services were held the Wesley Chapel on Meadow Lane. Later services were held in a hired room on Folly Lane. This church opened on Whit Monday, June 3rd 1867, the congregation increased and the church was extended. An organ was installed which cost £248. The church was reopened in November 1884. In 1906 a new school hall was added at a cost of £2,700. A fire in 1910 destroyed the roof and east end. The church was rebuilt.
