Description: Undated.
View of the Nookin from Leeds Road. The date on the beam says 1611, though it is thought to be the date of the restoration and the building is thought to be at least a century older. A report by Leeds University give the information 'Although the main structure of the house is wood, it contains neither nails or screws but is pinned together with wooded peas'.
The main beams appear to be
Pre-Norman and still in good condition.
