22nd August 1906 Taken during the Quarry Hill improvements. Showing on the left a row of derelict terraced houses and a railed garden area on the right. There is a man, possibly a surveyor on the right. In the background are the shops and houses of Mabgate. There is an advertising hoarding on the left, full of unidentified posters. Beyond that is an unclear view of the roofs and chimneys of Leeds.
