c1905. Image shows Buckstone Drive, a row of substantial villas with ornate gables off Micklefield Lane. This private road is walled with pillars and wrought iron gates across the street entrance. A woman and two children are seen to the left of the gate. Buckstone Drive was named after Buckstone Rock, which is in Cragg Wood, used a meeting place for dissenters in the 17th Century.
