Description:
18th June 1937. On the left, number 23 Albert Ackroyd Confectioners shop, next branch of Martins Bank is number 27, with a Miss E. Hardie dressmaker listed as number 25. Number 29, William Sudbury, number 31 Groocock and Sons, grocers. On the right junction with Shire Oak Road, sign for the Yorkshire Penny Bank can be seen. There are a number of cars in the road.
