Description: 1986,
This image shows the interior of the 17th century barn converted into a pub and restaurant in the 1970s. Note the oak wall posts and tie beams held together with joints and oak pins, not nails. Originally this barn housed hay, corn and cattle. Threshing was done with flails during winter months on the barn floor.
