Woodland Dyeworks
1910. Image shows two children in Edwardian dress standing on the path beside the mill pond belonging to Woodland Dyeworks in Wood Lane. The smoking chimney and buildings of the dye and bleachworks are visible in the background. At this time it was operated by Edward Crowther. Meanwood Beck follows the line of the mill pond at this point and would be just off camera, left. In the background, Batty's Wood and the end of Woodhouse Ridge can be seen.
