1967 This view looks from Westgate across the City Centre. The Headrow is on the left, St Pauls Street to the right. In the centre, at the junction is Brotherton House, this building had been owned by a chemical manufacturing company and was purchased by Leeds City Council in 1963. It cost £325,000. It provided a new headquarters for Leeds City Police in 1965. In 1976 a new headquarters was opened at Millgarth.
