Description:
1982 View looks from the non-fiction section of Moor Allerton Library in the direction of the counter and the main entrance. In the foreground a man browses the Gardening section. Moor Allerton Library opened on the 5th October 1982 and has a largely open plan layout. The library suffered a fire in 1988 but retained much the same layout when refurbished.

I'm fairly certain that this gentleman is my late father, Steve Lefevre. When I worked at Moor Allerton Library back in the 1990s, we regularly called on him to come in and mend the wonky trolleys!
