Description:
1982 The Children's Section of Moor Allerton Library is visible in this view. Shelves containing Information Books are on the left. The Picture Books are situated to the right in 'kinder boxes' to allow easy access for children. Circular plastic chairs surround movable kinder boxes in the centre with a large beanbag visible in the foreground. A book display on the right contains the titles 'Long Neck and Thunder Foot' by Helen Piers and 'On Friday Somthing Happened' by John Prater. This area is now used as the Reference Section.
