Description: Undated.
Image shows number 7 Stonegate, a house which was situated side on to the path, its peaceful appearance belies the fact that it was surrounded by mills, workshops, tanneries and various other industries. The area as far as the bridge crossing Sheepscar Beck was known locally as Buslingthorpe Vale. Beyond the bridge is Buslingthorpe Green with access to Meanwood Road. Photo taken in the early to mid 1950s.
