Lowell Terrace
Undated, Image shows the rear entrances and yards of through terraced houses numbers 1 to 9 Lowell Street. Clothes hang on a line stretched across the street from outside number 3. On the far left is Lowell Road.

I lived at No.11 Lowell road before it, and all the other surrounding streets, were knocked down to make room for the new housing estate. People living in Lowell Terrace at that time were:no.1 the Whittakers,no.3 the Kisbys ( the only people in the two streets with a car -silver coloured ),no.5 the Ackroyds, no.7 ?, and no. 9 the Fishers.
