Description: Undated,
A view, possibly early 1900s of the rear of Harewood House showing the terraces and gardens. The son of Henry Lascelles, former tax collector in the Barbados, London Merchant Banker and MP for North Allerton, built Harewood House. The architects were John Carr and Robert Adam and the grounds landscaped by Capability Brown, including the creation of a large lake. The stone for the house was quarried locally.
