10th June 1964 View of Ashfield Grove taken from the junction with Charmouth Terrace looking towards Beeston Road. The shop seen on the left is number 67 Beeston Road and is Doris Stead, ladies outfitter, Doris and Harry Stead lived adjoining the shop at number 1 Ashfield Grove as listed in the Barretts Directory for 1955. Number 3 on the right is a double fronted, back-to-back terraced house with a yard housing outside toilets adjacent to it. Ashfield Terrace can be seen on the far right.
