1958 On the left of this view is a newsagents at number 300 and 302 Lower Wortley Road which has an outside toilet block adjoined to the right. A billboard advertising Swan Vestas can be seen on the wall. The junction with Woodcock Park Road follows to the right with Rehoboth Place running into the background, most properties on this street have been demolished. On the right edge is C. Stringers shop selling fish, vegetables, fruit and flowers. This is number 1 Woodcock Park Road. Property in view was included in slum clearance plans for the Lower Wortley area.
