30th May 1963 To the left side is the cricketers arms public house, number 51, serving Ind Coope beer. Moving right, 53 is a vacant shop, previously Cameron's tailors. Next 53 is the premises of Lockhart and Co. dealing in glassware and decorations. Number 57 has the name 'Sylvia' in the window. A newsagents is at 59, D and R Stennett, 61 is a house. At the corner with Parkfield Street is C. Matthew's, grocer. This shop has blinds over the windows.
