Description: Undated,
Postcard with view of St Oswald's Church, Collingham. Traces of the church are thought to date back to Saxon times. The north arcade is thought to be circa 1200. Of great significance are fragments of stone crosses which were possibly funerary ornaments. One example, thought to have carvings representing the Apostles is dated around 800 A.D. A later cross (late 800s) has a Wharfe Valley scroll of trellis pattern.
