Description:
2000. View looking across a children's playground situated back from the junction of Sherburn Road North and Hebden Approach. At the rear, a row of residential properties in Hebden Approach can be seen. There are two sets of swings, a slide and an adventure climbing frame in the play area, but since this photograph was taken these have been dismantled in readiness for the construction of part of the network of the East Leeds line of the new Supertram.

I remember there being a roundabout here too. I wonder if the park will be rebuilt now the Supertram has been shelved?

Its a shame that this play area no longer exsists as i have two young children which im sure would enjoy as i use to do when i was a child and able to use this play area.
