Description:
2000. Beneath the underpass Sherburn Road can be seen, with York Road crossing over the top. People are walking on the wide footpaths either side of Sherburn Road. At the other side of York Road six blocks of high-rise residential flats are visible. All have since been demolished.

All the high rise blocks in this picture are now just history the last ones were demolished in 2006

i lived in the block on the right 11 floors up ? farn dale court in 1978 ish for about 6 years sound .all the flats you see on here are now gone .the post and the cat are still there my old booozzzers sound but for how long ??
