Description:
2000. A millennium view of the Old Red Lion Public House in York Road. The white exterior is festooned with hanging baskets and there are posters advertising food served on the premises. In 1881 the landlord of the Old Red Lion was Edward Brown, who was also a farmer with 12 acres.

I lived in this Public House as a new born baby and infant from 1981. My father and mother were Landlord and Lady and now live in the adjoining street.
