Description: 2000.
A view of the very old buildings of Colton Mill which became a listed building in 1970. When it made the transition from wind-power to steam-power it became known as Swillington Steam Corn Mill. Throughout the late 19th Century until 1940, when it ceased to operate, it was worked by the Barraclough family. It became known locally as 'Barraclough's Mill'.
