Description: Undated
Photo possibly dating from the early 1900s. The farm was situated off Potternewton Lane, near Newton Lodge, it was part of the Earl of Mexborough's estate. The area is now a sports field. In the background of this view is a threshing machine being run by a steam engine. A Daimler lorry is in the centre, a hay stack on the right. A large number of filled sacks are between the lorry and the stack, the name 'Canon' is on them.
