Quarry Cottage off Potternewton Lane
Undated, Photo possibly dating from the 1920s. Quarry Cottage which was situated near Scott Hall Farm off Potternewton Lane. A woman in the doorway is dressed in the fashion of the 1920s, with cloche hat.

User Comments:

The cottage was occupied by the Hornsby family at this time and the person in the door was my aunt Lena who was one of 8 children living there.
