Description:
2003. On the left is the Avenue. Number 4 is 'Headfirst' hairdressers. B and C Car Parts is located in the corner building. To the right is Alwoodley Post Office. King Lane is on the right, with Alwoodley Motor Services.

B and C Car Parts opened at 710 King lane in January 2000, It is their second shop, the first one opened on Kirkstall Road in September 1987

Alwoodley post office closed down in 2005 when lots of sub post offices were closed due to cut backs, it is now a chinese take away..

B and C Carparts closed this shop in December 2005 , Lloyds chemists next door took it over and extended their shop

My father, Joe Tunnington, had King lane Fruit Stores from c.1934 to 1940's The red brick frontage had our sign where the red car parts sign is in the photo.
