This appears to be looking from the Melbourne roundabout towards Barwick Road. Now the site of Killingbeck police station.

If i am correct the garage to the left of the picture was called Brydens garage, I grew up just behind this garage on skelwith walk then moresdale lane. I remember the garage standing empty during the late 70s and played on the site until moving away from seacroft in 1979. This site is presently undergoing major redevelopment and will be the new fire station and i believe the joint ambulance station to. I can just remember the wooded area further up on the left which was bulldozed when the construction of new houses on fairfax close, mowbray crescent commenced. To the right is the kwik fit garage that used to be charlie browns. And that roundabout i do remember well for all the crashes that happened, 1 in particular was a Harp Lager tanker that over turned and lager was gushing straight down the drains. Can you imagine that now eh? we would all be out with jars and bottles. its amazing how this site evokes memories from long ago.
