Description:
c.1900 View of butchers shop, owned by J.& E. Atkinson at 1 Headingley Lane. The junction with Hyde Park Road is to the left. A man, presumably the shop owner, is standing in the doorway. A boy is leaning against the railings to the right. Along Hyde Park Road the building on the far left is number 267 owned by Laurette Dixon, draper and milliner. The church in the background is Wrangthorn, St Augustines.
