View of a pair of large stone built properties, numbers 95 (left) and 97 Pollard Lane situated between the Leeds & Liverpool canal and the railway line. Number 95 was once known as Airevale Cottage and 97, Airevale House. The Airevale dyeworks are at the rear. To the right, part of the Abbey Inn can be glimpsed. These houses were owned, at the time by Messrs Hadwen and Redman.
