22nd July 1935 View of the exterior of St Edward's Church showing detail of a carved winged statue surmounting the conical roof of the Lady Chapel. The roof was restored much later in 1975/76 under the direction of Farther McNally and the statue was replaced by a weatherproof representation of Our Lady.
