Description:
6th May 1941 View of St Edward's Roman Catholic Church located at the junction of Chapel Lane with the High Street. The first stone was laid on 13th October, 1845. It opened 24th May 1848 as St Edward, King and Confessor, and of the ever Immaculate Virgin Mary.
