Description: Undated
This is one of the pillars which stand at th entrance to the sanctuary of St Edward's Church. The top is inticately carved with a design of leaves. The column itself has a pattern of fish scales while the base is carved with appropriate motifs. There is a mitre, St Peter's keys, three crowns, St Edward's coat of arms, the cross of St George and a chequered sheild. The carved High Alter can be seen on the right.
