Description:
6th February 1980. View from Street Lane of the junction with Birchfield Avenue. The house on the left is numbered 50a Street Lane; behind that is number 1, Birchfield Avenue. In the background on the right is Gildersome Birchfield Primary School. Snow is covering the paths and gardens.

I was 13 when that photo was taken, and probably made soe of those footprints in the snow truging up to Bruntcliffe High school. Happy day!!
