Description:
8th March 1983 View of Meanwood Road looking towards the junction with Clay Pit Lane. Several blocks of high rise flats can be seen in the Little London area. They are all constructed to the same height of 47 metres and they are all 17 storeys. The three darker brick blocks, with white decorative brickwork are Lovell Park Grange, Heights and Towers, built in 1967 as part of the Camp Road development. The three lighter red brick blocks on the right are Oatland Heights, Court and Towers built in 1971, part of the Little London project. The Lovell Park highrise flats comprise of 297 units and the Oatland have 300 units.
