Description:
8th March 1983 Image shows Meanwood Road at the junction with Clay Pit Lane. The brick building in the foreground with advertising is Number 4 Meanwood Road, the premises of E.B. Balmforth Ltd., Leather Manufacturer. The highrise flats in the background, right, are Lovell Park Grange and Lovell Park Heights, built in 1971 to a height of 47 metres comprising, along with Lovell Park Towers, 297 flats.
