Description:
8th March 1983 View of Meanwood Road at the junction with Clay Pit Lane. The building with an advertising billboard displayed is Number 4 Meanwood Road, part of E.B. Balmforth Ltd., Leather Manufacturer. In the background, Lovell Park Grange and Lovell Park Heights can be seen. They were part of the 1964 approved Camp Road Development and are 2 of 3 residential blocks built in 1967 on Lovell Park Hill to a height of 47 metres on 17 storeys. The high-rise flats had 297 units between them.
