25th May 1979 Image shows the entrance to No.35A, a large stone built property made up of offices, workshops and laboratories. This building could previously have been the Wool Industries Research Association premises (Kelly's Directories 1947). In 1979 the Thompson Spencer Partnership applied for planning permission to demolish the premises and erect office buildings and a 254 space car park.
