Far Moss,The Avenue junction
14th May 1980. View of Far Moss showing the junction with The Avenue and The Lane on the right. Behind the trees on the Left is no 24 The Avenue, a doctor's surgery.

User Comments:

You can also see the royal mail post box on the corner of The Avenue and The Lane which is still there but now has a bus stop built next to it

Pamela gaunt.

24 The Avenue was a family home before it became a doctor's surgery. Prior to that it was open land with some fruit trees. I lived in The Avenue from 1939 to 1955.
