Ackroyd Street, Territorial Army parade

Ackroyd Street, Territorial Army parade
c1960s. Looking down Ackroyd Street, Morley, in the 1960s. This is the last parade of Morley Territorials outside the Drill Hall. The City Streets have been demolished while no new building has taken their place. This would suggest 1960 itself as the likely date. The territorials are in black berets to show their connection with the tank regiment. Photograph from the David Atkinson Archive.
