Comment:
One of my ancestors, Ada Mary Lodge, born 1869 in Leeds, died 1925 in Leeds, was a barmaid here. In the 1881 census, when she was 12, it was registered as her home address, and at the age of 22 she is registered as a barmaid here. Her father was Thomas Lodge and her mother Sarah (née Botterill)were probably the proprietors at that time. Her siblings were Rosaline, Charles, William, Clara and Sarah. Maybe someone has further information on them?
