Description: 2005.
View from Leadwell Lane showing a field full of rhubarb. Yorkshire rhubarb grown within the 'rhubarb triangle' of Leeds, Bradford and Wakefield is well known for its quality. It is intensively grown between January and March when it is forced in a dimly lit, warm, moist environment in special sheds. The crowns are specially selected for this treatment from plants which have been grown outdoors for three years.
