Jarvis Walk at the junction with Formans Drive
September 2006. View of Jarvis Walk at the junction with Formans Drive at a time when demolition was in progress. Prefabricated homes erected at the end of the Second World War were being demolished and replaced by brick built bungalows. The large blue skip at the right edge was on site to take asbestos material from the roofs and interiors of the prefabricated buildings. From there it was removed to a specialist waste deposit site in Middlesborough.
