Description:
April 1965. In the bell tower of the Town Hall clock in Morley. The hour bell is at the front, one of the quarter hour bells is behind that and seated on the wooden struts above is the electrical siren that was used both for giving the warning of an air raid during the Second World War (wailing) and for giving the all clear signal (continuous tone).
