Elegant villas on Pine Tree Avenue located off the High Street. It runs parallel to Bridge Road and then bends round to join it. On the bend of Pine Tree Avenue and right of the centre of the image is Castlestead House which has a castellated tower, just gilmpsed. Pine Tree Avenue dates from 1901.
